01What is a DSAR
A Data Subject Access Request (DSAR) is a formal request to see what personal data we hold about you and to exercise your rights over it under UK GDPR.
02Your rights
UK GDPR gives you the following rights at no cost:
- Access — get a copy of all personal data we hold.
- Rectification — correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Erasure — have your data deleted ("right to be forgotten").
- Restriction — limit how we process your data.
- Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format.
- Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interests.
- Withdraw consent — at any time.
03How to submit
Email privacy@sqease.uk with the subject line "DSAR" and your registered email address. You can also use the in-app Settings page for self-service access and deletion.
04Identity verification
We may ask you to verify your identity before processing your request — typically by confirming details from your account.
05Our response
We respond within one calendar month. In exceptional cases this may extend to three months, in which case we'll explain why.
06Complaints & appeals
If you're unhappy with our response, you have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
